What We Offer

Here at Aurora Farms, we are proud to offer specialized care for the older horse. Many of our current retirees are World Champion American Saddlebred Horsess, Grand Prix jumpers, and Eventers. Some enjoy our green pastures year round, while others stay only through the winter months. We accept all breeds of horses for retirement board.

Farm owner Melody Adler has completed courses in Equine Nutrition and Horse Management with Dr. Sarah Ralston at Rutgers University.

As a retiree at Aurora Farms, you can rest assured that your horse will receive the best possible care! Aurora Farms is owner operated and we take pride in caring for your horse as though it were one of our own.

Our retirees are grouped 4-5 per pasture depending on the size of their pasture, and they are grouped based on personality and nutritional needs. All of their pastures have automatic waterers and run in sheds with fans.

There is always an empty stall in case a horse needs to come in for any reason, at no extra charge.

We have a 32 yr old TB out with 3 other horses, he is a slow eater, so we stand with him while he eats so he doesn't get chased off of his feed. Each horse on my farm gets whatever they need.

We send photographs and e-mail updates to our out of state customer! Please call (502.747.9980) or E-Mail Aurora with any questions you have and for pricing.
