About Aurora Farms

Melody Adler spent months searching for a retirement farm to board her world champion showhorse in 1999. Disappointed at the lack of individualized care available, she quickly realized that if she wanted a place where her old friend could get the love and support that he deserved, she was going to have to build it herself. Aurora Farms was created as the ideal environment in which horses can be nurtured and thrive.

As Aurora Farms grew, clients and veterinarians rallied around Melody’s devotion and approach to horse care and requested that she expand her services to offer the same level of compassionate, customized care in rehabilitation, breeding, and foaling. Today, Aurora offers specialized services to all horses in the stages of life when they need it the most: breeding, foaling, rehabilitation, and retirement.

Melody brings her devotion and advocacy, along with her experience and education, directly to the horses on the farm everyday. Working with an exceptional staff and dedicated veterinarians and farriers,  Aurora is now the happy home to horses from across the world.

“Integrity, honesty, and compassion are the three words that describe Melody Adler, owner of Aurora Farms. I have personally experienced all three with my horses that have been entrusted in her care. Working with this state of the art facility gives me great peace of mind as I live in Ohio. Thanks Melody for all you do.”
